Paleo Baked Pears with Maple Syrup & Pecans

Delicious warm Paleo baked pears smothered in maple syrup and pecans. Perfect for breakfast with non-dairy yogurt or dessert with ice cream.

  • Baking Sheet



  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove the stem from all pears and cut lengthwise in half.
  • Take a tablespoon and make a rounded pocket into each half removing the seeds and some flesh. Place pears onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, combine chopped pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  • Using the same tablespoon, scoop mixture into each pear halve.
  • Bake pears in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the pears to cool for 10 minutes before serving.


  • Baked pears are best served warm.
  • Top baked pears with yogurt for breakfast or with ice cream for dessert.
