Juicy Mouth-Watering Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef grass-fed or organic
  • 4-6 green leaf lettuce to wrap
  • 6 oz sliced or diced mushrooms
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 TBSP avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil


  • Heat cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add in 1 tablespoon oil.
  • Form beef into four 1/4 patties. Season both sides with spices (Our favorites are: salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and onion powder).
  • Once your skillet is hot carefully add beef patties. Cook five minutes and then flip for an additional five minutes.
  • While your patties are cooking, heat a small pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon oil.
  • Once your pan is hot, add minced garlic, diced onions mushrooms. Cook for 5-8 minutes until onions become soft or translucent. Remove from heat and put off to the side.
  • Remove cooked patties from pan and place on a plate. Let rest for five minutes.
  • Wrap your burger into lettuce and top with sauteed onions and mushrooms. Add additional toppings as desired.
