I feel like I’ve been missing out on so many different kinds of oodles, zoodles, and spoodles! I was like a feen rummaging through the fridge trying to see what I could spiralize next!

So, last night I made my homemade Spicy Mushroom Bolognese Sauce and figured this would be the prefect sauce to dress up my zoodles.

How to Make a Spicy Paleo Mushroom Bolognese Sauce

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in EVOO, garlic, and diced onion.

  2. Cook for 3 minutes. Add in thinly sliced mushrooms and cook for 6-8 minutes or until water from mushrooms is completely evaporated.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to skillet. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
