It takes a radish 21-23 days to grow and less than that to eat one (or two). I’ll be honest we produce way more radishes than we can consume each year. Most of the time we give them to family and friends or store in the fridge to make these Paleo Roasted Radishes.

Homemade Paleo Roasted Radishes are easy to make, AND they taste just like potatoes. Enjoy these as a side dish or as your main dish.

Each year we plant radishes, and each year, I scramble to create recipes using them. I’m not a huge fan of eating radishes raw – unlike my husband and kids who just eat them out of the garden.

I need some type of dipping sauce (as my kids love to call all Primal Kitchen products), or sliced thinly and wrapped in roast beef.

(Omg, you have to try it)!

After numerous failed attempts trying to create a recipe using radishes, I pulled up my big girl pants and asked the ladies in my private Moms Eat Paleo Facebook support group.

I was actually surprised that many of them suggested roasting AND that they taste just like potatoes!

Total game changer for me. Now I can’t seem to have enough radishes on hand to fuel my new addiction!

P.S Yes, they taste close to a potato. 😉

How to Make Paleo Roasted Radishes

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Line an edge baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Wash and cut the tops and bottoms off of radishes then cut into 1-inch pieces.

  4. Place cut radishes into a large bowl and coat with oil and spices.

  5. Once radishes are evenly coated pour onto your prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Tips & Tricks

  • This recipe would be great for Summer grilling – wrap your prepared radishes in tin foil and place on the grill.
  • Pair with your favorite protein.
