I am always looking for ways for my kids to enjoy their favorite fruits and vegetables, that is fun and exciting! One thing I learned over the years of being a mom is that kids LOVE to dip. Am I right?! They can’t eat chicken nuggets without ketchup, and you can’t have French toast strips without the syrup! Hell, as a parent I even like to dip with them! This fun fruit spread is perfect for the whole family to enjoy together and makes for the perfect Summer treat. Spread this sweet pineapple spread over homemade graham crackers, banana and cucumber slices, or dip your favorite vegetables in (our favorite is celery).

I kid you not, this pineapple spread tastes better the next day, especially after the pineapple juices have time to marinate into the cream cheese. If you are planning on making this for a party or event, to save time, I suggest making the night before for a more intense pineapple flavor throughout!

Before you get started, you can use either fresh or canned pineapple. For canned pineapple, make sure there are not any hidden additives such as sugars.

Tip: Pineapple out of season? Opt to swap out fresh pineapple for equal parts canned pineapple. (chunks or crushed work best).

2. Using a hand mixer, blend on medium-high for 30 to 60 seconds or until thoroughly combined. Serve chilled.
