Cute story… When my oldest was three, I jokingly told him that these delicious round specimens were meatballs. He loved meatballs at the time, so I figured it was a great way to get him to try something new and health(ier).
He loved these ‘meatballs’ so much he asked to eat them for dinner. Well, being the mean mom I am, I made real meatballs for dinner. Boy, you should have seen the ugly look I got, which was followed by tears of disappointment and a lot of screaming.
To this day he still calls them meatball.
Moral of the story: There is none. 🙂

When shopping in the ‘health food’ section, always flip the product over and look at the ingredient list. Just because something says, ‘organic’ or ‘natural’ does not mean it is either organic or natural. Sadly, a lot of these products have unnecessary additives, like sugar, preserves, chemicals, and excessive amounts of salt.
