Paleo Appetizer Board

Paleo, No Bake, Easy, Perfect for any party or event

Hi, Mama! I know you love a night out once and while, but have you tried having a girls night in? Ditch the fried apps from Chilis and put together a Paleo Appetizer Board for a fun game night in. (Don’t forget the wine… lots of wine).

Homemade Paleo Appetizer Board is Paleo AND easy to make. Perfect for any party or event. Minimal work and no baking required.

This appetizer board is excellent for any party or event you are hosting or attending. It is full of nutrient-dense and healthful foods that are not only nutritious but will leave your guests full longer and ready to mingle without the bloat of overeating.

Nutrient Dense Foods

Nutrient dense foods are considered high in nutrients but relatively low in calories. These nutrient filled foods contain vitamins, minerals, protein, and healthy fats that essential to any healthy diet.

Almonds

Almond are among the most consumed tree nut in the United States. They are highly nutritious and rich in healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.

A small handful of almonds will supply your body with a healthy amount of monounsaturated fats, fiber, protein, and various essential nutrients.

  • vitamin E
  • magnesium
  • antioxidants

While almonds are low in carbs, they are high in protein and fiber. Recent studies show us that eating a handful of almonds can increase fullness and cut back the calories of overeating.

My favorite almonds: Terrasoul Raw Unpasteurized Organic Almonds

Cucumbers

Commonly thought to be a vegetable, a cucumber is actually a fruit.

Cucumbers are low in calories and contain a valued amount of water and soluble fiber, making them ideal for staying hydrated and aiding in weight loss.

Nutrients contained within a cucumber:

  • potassium
  • magnesium
  • vitamin K
  • vitamin C

One unpeeled cucumber contains only 45 calories. Eating cucumbers with the peel provides the maximum amount of nutrients. Use an All Natural Produce Cleaner to rid of chemicals and germs and always buy local or organic when possible.

Uncured Meats

What’s the difference between uncured and cured meats?

Cured meats are cured with chemical additives such as nitrates and nitrites while uncured meats are cured by natural curing agents such as celery powder and salt.

You can typically tell the difference between an uncured piece of meat and a cured piece of meat. Cured meat has a pinkish reddish ‘appealing’ color to it (from the nitrites) while uncured meat looks more natural.

You’ll also notice a taste difference between the two since uncured meats usually don’t contain unnatural flavorings or added sugars.

Try these uncured deli meats

  • Salami
  • Pepperoni
  • Ham

My favorite brand of uncured deli meats: Applegate

Grapes

There are many types of grapes including green, red, black, yellow, and pink.

Grapes offer a wealth of health benefits due to their high nutrient and antioxidant contents.

  • thiamine
  • riboflavin
  • vitamin B6
  • potassium
  • Copper

Grapes contain many important vitamins and minerals, including more than one-quarter of the RDIs for vitamins C and K. Remember to always buy local or organic. Wash with an All Natural Produce Cleaner and eat up!

Make transitioning to a healthy lifestyle stress-free & fun for the whole family!
