Nut Seed Face And Body Scrub
DIY All-Natural Homemade Paleo Body Scrub
Ditch the chemicals and save money by treating yourself to a homemade all-natural Nut Seed Face And Body Scrub.
After a long Wisconsin Winter, I needed a full-on body scrub before ever thinking about showing an ounce of skin. (I’ll spare you the details).
I’m sure you can relate, as being a parent, we tend to neglect ourselves the most basic upkeep and self-care. At the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is take care of myself after taking care of my tiny humans (husband included) all day long.
I was searching the stores for an all natural, no chemical body scrub the other day. Unfortunately, I ended up walking out with nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
It baffles me the number of chemicals and unnecessary additives these companies put into their products. It’s borderline disgusting. While I’m not one to judge and my unsolicited advice is most likely not wanted – but there are times I want to smack products out of shoppers hands and give them the rundown on how these ‘healthy’ products are detrimental to their health.
Anyways, I just wanted a simple body scrub with five ingredients or less, not ten or more of things I couldn’t even pronounce. Feeling annoyed and helpless, I went home.
The Story Behind It All
I remembered I bought these huge bags of almonds and walnuts at Costco and I figured I’d make a scrub instead with the ingredients I had in my pantry. I knew when I purchased these bags of nuts; I would eventually use them.
You got to love Costco. They are great for getting you to buy unnecessary things in bulk.
Insert your funniest Costco meme here.
I went to my office (aka the kitchen) and started the process of making my very own chemical-free, all-natural Nut Seed Face and Body Scrub. My family loved this so much I had to share!
