Natural Homemade Deodorant – Chemical Free

Ingredients

Optional: 10-30 drops {of your favorite} Essential Oils:

Instructions

  • Melt coconut oil and butter over low heat in a small saucepan. {Microwave works well too}
  • Remove from heat and whisk in baking soda and arrowroot.
  • Mix well and add essential oils as desired.
  • Fill deodorant containers and let cool thoroughly. {Put in the fridge for a faster cooling process}

 

*Add more baking soda {one or two tablespoons} for summer months and hotter climates. This will keep the deodorant firm and avoid any melting issues when temperatures exceed 78 degrees. If heat isn’t an issue use six tablespoons baking soda.

  • 6 Tablespoons Cacao Butter or Shea Butter
  • 6 Tablespoons Baking Soda*
  • 4 Tablespoons Arrowroot

  • Lavender
  • Tea Tree
  • Citrus Blend
  • Lime
  • Lemon
