This bacon and roasted root dish is downright easy to make. Enjoy this recipe as a meal or side dish.

Naturally free of grains, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, legumes, and all things processed.

Loaded with flavor and lots of bacon, this dish will surely please even the pickiest of eaters.

  • 1 lb Thick Cut Bacon Cooked and Chopped
  • 4 Parsnips
  • 6 Carrots
  • 1 TSP Fresh Rosemary
  • 1/2 TSP Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425. Line an edged baking sheet with tin foil.

  2. Slice carrots and parsnips into thick rounds. Place in a large bowl and coat with EVOO, rosemary, and pepper.

  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and place into a large bowl. Add in already cooked and chopped bacon, stir, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I do not use salt in this recipe since the bacon brings enough salt flavor. Feel free to add more if desired.
